The Role

As the Sr. Manager, Learning Operations, you will be responsible for building capabilities, daily operations and process improvements that enable learning teams to deliver solutions and experiences efficiently at scale.

Working closely with Program Managers, Learning Consultants and business partners, you will turn learning strategies into effective execution. Your focus will be on implementation, operational excellence, logistics, reporting, LMS administration, and continuous improvement.

Success in this role looks like creating efficiencies throughout our portfolio, simplifying operations, improving learner experiences, and ensuring Enterprise Learning can deliver high-quality programs consistently across the organization.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

As an operational leader for Enterprise Learning, you will help create the capabilities, standards, and infrastructure that enable learning solutions to be delivered consistently and efficiently across Fidelity.

You will work closely with the Associate and Manager Development portfolios, driving implementation, establishing operational standards, and improving processes across our product offering. Using your knowledge of Learning Operations & Governance, you will establish scalable processes supporting implementation, delivery, and sustainment, while simplifying complex processes through automation.

The Sr. Manager, Learning Operations serves as the primary operational partner to Program Managers, helping translate their portfolio strategies into implementation and execution plans. Throughout these partnerships, you’ll identify risks, dependences, resource needs, and improvement opportunities. You will also deliver reporting and insights on completions, automate tasks, and improve our program efficiency.

Additionally, you will support our Implementation Leads in managing day-to-day learner experience operations, overseeing learning administration, enrollment processes, and learner communications. You will define and monitor operational metrics, develop dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into program health and operational performance, and analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to continually improve our portfolio.

The ideal candidate profile for this role includes…

  • 8+ years of experience preferred in Learning & Development, Learning Operations, Program Management, Organizational Effectiveness, HR, Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience leading learning operations, implementation, service delivery, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives. Proven success building scalable operating models, governance frameworks, workflow optimization, and operational processes and design.
  • Strong program and project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and build strong partnerships across functions.
  • Strong analytical, system-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience using learning technologies, reporting tools, AI-enabled solutions, automation, and digital learning platforms.
  • Ability to build dashboards, metrics, and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting change management, adoption, and operational readiness.
  • Experience working within a large, complex enterprise environment and connecting cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms (LXP), and learning analytics tools.
  • Passion for creating exceptional learner experiences and operational excellence while coaching others and promoting a culture of accountability and improvement.

The Learning Operations team serves as the engine behind Enterprise Learning, enabling successful implementation, administration, reporting, learner experience support, governance, and process improvement. Together, we create capabilities that allow learning programs to be delivered consistently, efficiently, and optimally at scale while providing exceptional experiences for Fidelity associates.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $79,000-153,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
